ISO 22301:2019 defines international standards for business continuity management. The standard addresses risks posed to the company’s infrastructure, structures and day-to-day operations following unforeseen events such as fires, earthquakes, tsunamis, etc. which can have a devastating affect on the organization’s ability to continue to provide customer service and assist in building a management system and business continuity.<\/span>

Approved supplier – supply chain<\/b><\/p>\n

In recent years, there has been a considerable increase in the number and severity of cyber attacks against corporations. Some of these attacks originated within the attacked company’s supply chain. <\/span>
<\/span>An organization is responsible for managing the cyber risk to which it is exposed through its service suppliers.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a result, the organization must seriously consider the cyber risk management process to protect the supply chain while examining potential cyber risks associated with contracting with a specific supplier, which includes, among other things, defining secure work processes and implementing controls to reduce the organization’s exposure to cyber risks. The y-tech group maintains an approved supplier standard – a supply chain – on behalf of Israel’s National Cyber Security Authority.<\/span><\/p>\n

y-tech\u2019s membership in RIPE NCC<\/b><\/p>\n

As part of being a professional organization that provides advanced communication services to our customers, y-tech is a member of <\/span>RIPE NCC<\/span><\/a>. RIPE NCC is an independent, non-profit organization which advocates the regulation of internet infrastructure and in particular registration of global internet resources in Europe, Central Asia, and the Middle East.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Membership in this organization gives y-tech the rights to unique IP addresses (under our ownership) which can be moved according to the needs of our customers in Israel and abroad and facilitates the establishment and transferal of complex and sophisticated DR systems between various computer centers with the ability to save IP addresses and identical connectivity of these systems, regardless of their geographical location.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, we are among the few service providers in Israel to implement the Ipv6-based communication systems, a new address technology –IP that will replace the current version 4.<\/span><\/p>\n

Implementation of these systems allows us to provide reliable infrastructure for distribution of technologies (Internet of things) including allocation of multiple IP addresses and flexible geographic roaming capabilities for every device.<\/span><\/p>\n

y-tech is Israel\u2019s sole representative on the standards committee on behalf of the international standards organizations, ISO and IEC. The committee includes representatives from 26 countries which together constitute an exclusive international body responsible for formulation of international quality standards for cloud-based computing. The committee formulates uniform terminology, work methodologies, and management of professional knowledge in order to establish high, uniform standards. These standards guide cloud service providers throughout the world to work according to advanced procedures and standards that will ensure the implementation of leading professional solutions and applications in this field.
